What the Records Show

In June 1900 Patrick Coogan, 71, was living at Warwick, Rhode Island, with his wife, Ellen, and their daughter Agnes, twenty-three. Patrick was recorded as a laborer and Agnes as a weaver. Patrick and Ellen were both born in Ireland, and the census gives 1850 as the year each came to the United States. [1]
